How to Automatically Clear History in Google Chrome

When you work on a shared computer and you do not want other people to know the websites you visited, you can either clear the history manually or clear the history automatically when you close Google Chrome. Please see below how to clear the history when you close the browser.

Step 1: Open Google Chrome;

Step 2: Click the Google setting icon from the top-right corner;

Step 3: Click the "Settings" from the drop-down list;

Step 4: Move down to the bottom and in the middle, click "Advanced";

Step 5: Click "Site settings" on the next page;

Step 6: Click "Cookies and site data" from the permissions list;

Step 7: Turn on "Keep local data only until you quit your browser".
