When adding a comment to a Word document, you will notice that the comment comes with a color and an image within the comment. The image is the picture you uploaded, or the initial of the computer name if you did not upload a picture. You can hide the picture with the steps below:
Step 1: Right-click on the comment;
Step 2: Select "Hide Pictures by Comments" from the dialog box;
Step 3: Now go back to the Word file, and the image disappears from the comment balloon.

To bring the image back to the comment balloon, right click on the comment and select "Show Pictures by Comments" from the dialog box.
