The shortcut Shift+Space Bar is to select the entire row in a worksheet. Please refer to "Ctrl+Space Bar" if you want to use the shortcut to select the column.
Step 1: Click any cell in the worksheet;
Step 2: Press and hold the "Shift" key from the keyboard, and click the "Space Bar" key. The whole row will be selected.
Alternatively, you can always select the whole row by clicking the row headers.
Step 1: Move the cursor to row headers and you will see the cursor turns into a black arrow;
Step 2: Click when the cursor turns into a black arrow and you will see the row is selected.
I've found this picks up my typing errors when editing formulas, is there anyway to turn it off so that SHIFT+SPACE just works as a normal space? I've never actually found an actual use for it
