Nowruz (Albania)

Nowruz, also known as Iranian New Year or Persian New Year, is a public holiday celebrated in many countries and communities, and it is the first day of Farvardin, the first month of the Iranian solar calendar, which is usually observed around March 21 or March 22 of the Gregorian calendar depending on the year and observation location.

Nowruz marks the first day of spring and the beginning of the year in the Persian calendar. Nowruz is a holy day in Muslim communities. People usually clean their houses before the arrival of Nowruz. Nowruz is also a time of gatherings for family and friends during the festival.
