How to Make Labels the Same Color as the Pies in Pie Chart

When making a pie chart, all the label colors by default are the same. If you did not change the default theme color, you will get the black or dark gray color for all the labels. However, you can change the label colors to the same as the pie color. The procedure is very similar in all Microsoft products such as in Word, Excel or PowerPoint.

Step 1: Make a pie chart first with your data (here we use the following data for demo);

Step 2: Click the "Design" tab from the ribbon, and select "Style 9" in the Chart Styles group;

Step 3: The label colors are now the same as the pie colors;

Step 4: Format the pie chart to the way you want, for example: add a border, put more labels.
