Kojagari Lakshmi Puja, also Sharad Purnima or Kumar Purnima, is a regional holiday in the state of West Bengal, and it is observed on the full moon day in lunar month Ashwin.
Kojagari Lakshmi Puja is a festival celebrated with different purposes. In Eastern parts, people worship Goddess Lakshmi, while in other parts, unmarried girls fast and worship Lord Shiva for a suitable life partner.
