If you want to set up a sound to remind you when there is a new message coming in, you can do that with the steps below:
Step 1: Click "File" tab from the ribbon;
Step 2: Click "Options" from the navigation bar on the left;
Step 3: Click "Mail" on the left in the "Outlook Options" window;
Step 4: Move down to find the section of "Message arrival", and check "Play a sound";
Please also consider the following options for new messages:
– Briefly change the mouse pointer;
– Show an envelope icon in the taskbar;
– Display a Desk Alert;
Step 5: Click "OK" at the bottom.
