There are 3 different ways to transfer a data range to a table. The easy method is to use shortcut "Ctrl+T" or "Ctrl+L", or you can convert a data range to a table by using Excel commands from Home Tab or Insert Tab, see below for details.
Method 1: Home Tab
Step 1: Click anywhere in the data range;
Step 2. Click the "Home" tab from the Ribbon;
Step 3. Click "Format as Table" in the "Styles" section;
Step 4: Select a Template from the drop-down list (e.g., Gray Table), and the new table will appear.
Method 2: Insert Tab
Step 1: Click anywhere in the data range;
Step 2: Click the Insert Tab from the Ribbon;
Step 3: Click "Table" in the "Tables" section;
Step 4: Click OK in the "Format As Table" window;
Step 5: A Table will be created.
