A Bubble Chart is similar to a scatter chart which does not use a category axis, instead, a bubble chart uses bubbles to represent data points which has 3 dimensions: X values, Y values and the size of the bubbles. Please follow the steps below to make a bubble chart:
Step 1: Select the data with X axis, Y axis and Bubble size (e.g., Height, Weight and # of People);
Step 2: Click the "Insert" Tab from the ribbon;
Step 3: Click the "Insert Scatter or Bubble Chart", and select one of the bubble charts (e.g., 3-D Bubble);
Step 4: A Bubble Chart will be created.
Step 5: Change Chart Title: Click on the title then select the words inside the box to replace with the proper ones;
Step 6: Add Data Labels: Right click on the bubble chart, in the dialog box, select "Add Data Labels", this by default will add Y axis value.
To add both x-axis, y-axis and bubble size values, right-click the Y-axis value added above, then select "Format Data Labels", in the "Format Data Labels" window, select X value, Y value, and Size.
Step 7: Format Axis: Right click on X (or Y) axis, in the dialog, select "Format Axis", change the value to adjust the chart.
You can also double click on X axis or Y axis to bring up the Axis Options window.
