When working with Pivot Table, not only you can insert slicers, but also you can insert the timelines if you work with Excel 2016 or above. Please see below to add the timeline:
Step 1: Click any cell in the Pivot Table;
Step 2: Click the "PivotTable Analyze" Tab from the Ribbon (or the "Analyze" Tab if a different Excel version);
Step 3: Click "Insert Timeline" in the "Filter" section;
Step 4: Select the data filters, e.g., "DOB";
Step 5: Click "OK" at the bottom, and a timeline will appear.
Step 6: Click the top-right corner to change the timeline.
