Moi Day
Moi Day, observed on October 10, 2025, commemorates the second President of Kenya Daniel Arap Moi. He was born on September 2, 1924, and became the President on August 22, 1978, following the death of the first President of Jomo Kenyatta.
Mashujaa Day
Mashujaa Day is a holiday in honor of those who contributed to the struggle for Kenya's independence and positively contributed to post-independence Kenya. The holiday was previously known as Kenyatta Day, named after the first Prime Minister and then President of Kenya Jomo Kenyatta. In 2010, Kenyatta Day was changed to Mashujaa Day. Jamhuri Day
Jamhuri Day, also known as Republic Day, is a public holiday in the Republic of Kenya, observed on December 12, 2025. Jamhuri Day marks when Kenya became a republic on December 12, 1964.
Christmas Day
