Even you do not have the internet, you can still use Gmail to read, respond to or search your Gmail messages. However, you need to turn on the offline mail.
Step 1: Login your Gmail account (please refer here to open one if you do not have an account yet);
Step 2: In the Gmail account, click the "Setting" button from the right-top corner;
Step 3: Click the "Settings" command from the drop-down list;
Step 4: Click the "Offline" tab in the settings menu and check "Enable offline mail" in the "Offline" section;
Step 5: Check one of the two options for the security after logging out the account:
– To keep offline data on my computer; or
– To remove offline data on my computer.
Step 6: Click the "Save Changes" at the bottom;
