The shortcut Ctrl+End is to move the cursor to the last cell with the row and column that are in use or move to the end when the cursor is in the formula bar.
Step 1: Click anywhere in a worksheet, e.g., A1;
Step 2: Press the "Ctrl" key from the keyboard, then click the "End" key. You will find the mouse cursor is now in cell D7, the very end of the cell that is in use.
However, the most useful shortcut to move around the cursor is "Ctrl+Arrow".
– Ctrl+Up Arrow: move the cursor to the bottom edge of the data range, the top edge of the data range, or the very first cell of the column;
– Ctrl+Down Arrow: move the cursor to the top edge of the data range, the bottom edge of the data range, or the very last cell of the column;
– Ctrl+Right Arrow: move the cursor to the left edge of the data range, the right edge of the data range, or the very last cell of the row;
– Ctrl+Left Arrow: move the cursor to the right edge of the data range, the left edge of the data range, or the very first cell of the row.
