In Gmail, you can add stars to your emails. After adding stars to the emails, you can find them in the "Starred folder". You only have "yellow star" by default in your Gmail, but you can add more stars.
Step 1: Log in to your Gmail account (please refer here to open one if you do not have an account yet);
Step 2: In your Gmail "Inbox", click and add stars to emails in front of the sender;
Step 3: If you have multiple stars options, keep clicking the star icon until you see the one you want to use;
Step 4: If you click the "Starred" folder from the folder list on the left, you will see all the emails you have added stars;
Step 5: If you have more than one star added to your messages, you can list emails by using the star's name in the search box: has:orange-star. Hover on the star to get the name of the star;
Step 6: In case you want to get rid of the stars, keep clicking the star until it turns "Not starred".
