Buddha Purnima

Buddha Purnima, also called Buddha Jayanti or Buddha's Birthday, is one of the most important Buddhist holidays, and it falls on the full moon day of the Vaisakha month of the Buddhist calendar, which is around April and May each year.

Buddha Purnima commemorates the birth of Prince Siddhartha Gautama, who was the Gautama Buddha later, and he was the founder of Buddhism. Buddhism is the world's fourth-largest religion with over 520 million followers.
