The shortcut Ctrl+Shift+4 is to apply the Currency format with two decimals. Please also refer to Ctrl+Shift+Dollar Sign ($).
Step 1: Select the data you want to add dollar sign;
Step 2: Press and hold the Ctrl and Shift keys, then press number 4 from the keyboard in the alphanumeric area.
