When you have a word document sharing with different people. They may return the word document independently with their comments. If you have a long document and each reviewer made a lot of comments, you can combine two persons' comments into one document with the steps below:
Step 1: Open one Word file, either one blank document or one of the Word files with comments;
Step 2: Click the "Review" tab from the Ribbon;
Step 3: Click "Compare" from the "Review" tab, and click "Combine" from the drop-down list;
Step 3: In the "Combine Documents" window, click the folder icon to navigate to the first Word document; then repeat to have the second Word document;
Step 4: Click "OK" to close the window. The document will display 4 pages:
– The left pane contains a summary of revisions;
– The middle pane contains the result of combing the two documents;
– The top-right pane displays the original document;
– The bottom-right pane displays the revised document.
Step 5: Save the document using "Ctrl+S" or clicking the save button from the ribbon;
Step 6: Close the document and open it again, the comments from two people are combined into one.
