When working with a word document, you may need to add comments for feedback. The comments by default will display on the right of the contents with a line linking to the text. If you want to remove these comment lines from the document, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Click the "Review" tab from the Ribbon;
Step 2: Click the right-bottom corner of the "Tracking" section to open the "Change Tracking Options" window;
Step 3: Click "Advanced Options" in the "Changing Tracking Option" window;
Step 4: Uncheck the box of "Show lines connecting to text" at the bottom.
Now you will notice the lines connecting to the text disappeared. To hide the image in the comment balloon, please check "how to hide images in the comment box".
