The shortcut Ctrl+Home is to move the cursor to the very beginning of a worksheet, no matter where the cursor currently is.
Step 1: Click anywhere in a worksheet, e.g., C4;
Step 2: Press the "Ctrl" key from the keyboard, then click the "Home" key. You will find the mouse cursor is now in cell A1, the very first of the worksheet.
This is different from the "Home" key. When pressing the "Home" key itself, the mouse cursor will move to the first cell of the row.
If you want to quickly move the mouse cursor to the last cell of the data range in the current worksheet, please refer to the shortcut of "Ctrl+End".
However, the most useful shortcut to move around the cursor is "Ctrl+Arrow".
– Ctrl+Up Arrow: move the cursor to the bottom edge of the data range, the top edge of the data range, or the very first cell of the column;
– Ctrl+Down Arrow: move the cursor to the top edge of the data range, the bottom edge of the data range, or the very last cell of the column;
– Ctrl+Right Arrow: move the cursor to the left edge of the data range, the right edge of the data range, or the very last cell of the row;
– Ctrl+Left Arrow: move the cursor to the right edge of the data range, the left edge of the data range, or the very first cell of the row.
