MHIP (Mizo Hmeichhe Insuihkhawm Pawl) Day is a regional holiday in the state of Mizoram, India, and it is observed on July 6 each year.
MHIP Day is to commemorate the founding of the largest women's organization in Mizoram on July 6, 1974: Mizo Hmeichhe Insuihkhawm Pawl (MHIP). The MHIP aims at creating a state of welfare in that everyone is cared. However, most activities have been focusing on women and children since it is a women's organization.
