How to Import Mail and Contacts in Gmail

You can import mails and contacts from your other accounts such as Yahoo!, Hotmail, AOL or POP3 accounts, etc.

Step 1: Login your Gmail account (please refer here to open one if you do not have an account yet);

Step 2: In the Gmail account, click the "Setting" button from the right-top corner;

Step 3: Click the "Settings" command from the drop-down list;

Step 4: Click the "Accounts and Import" tab in the settings menu;

Step 5: In the "Import mail and contacts" section, click "Import mail and contacts" in blue;

Step 6: Type the email address that you want to import contacts from, and click "Continue";

Step 7: Click "Continue" in the next window to continue;

Step 8: Sign in your email account such as Yahoo account;

Step 9: Click the "Agree" button in the next window;

Step 10: Close the window when you see the message "Authentication successful";

Step 11: Check the items to import, such as "Import Contacts";

Step 12: Click "OK" when you finish.
