– How to Move a Worksheet Within the Workbook
Instead of copying contents from one worksheet to another, you can move the worksheet to a new one and save as a new workbook, please follow the steps below for details:
Step 1: Right-click on the worksheet name;
Step 2: In the dialog box, select "Move or Copy Sheet";
Step 3: In the new window, select "new book" in the first box;
Step 4: Click "OK" at the bottom.
Alternatively, please use the commands from the Ribbon.
Step 1: Click anywhere in the worksheet that you need to move;
Step 2: Click the "Home" tab from the ribbon;
Step 3: Click "Format" in the Cells section, and select the "Move or Copy Sheet";
Step 3: In the new window, select "new book" in the first box;
Step 4: Click "OK" at the bottom.
